Our Aircraft

Below is a short description of the aircraft that are available to fly at Glasgow Flying Club.

Piper PA-38-112 Tomahawk

This is G-BNIM, one of our two Piper Tomahawk two-seat training aircraft (type PA38-112), primarily used for ab-initio training and trial lessons.

Reims Cessna F172N Skyhawk

Our Cessna 172, also used for ab-initio training and the occasional trial lesson. An excellent four-seat cruising aircraft for friends and family.

Piper PA-28-161 Cherokee Warrior II

This is G-BSYZ, a Piper Warrior (PA28-161). This four-seat aircraft is also used for NPPL/PPL training, trial flying lessons and self-hire flying. This aircraft is ideal for advanced training such as IMC.

This is G-IZZS, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk. This four-seat aircraft is ideally suited for touring the UK with friends and family.
